Not had the best night. Feel kinda melancholic, all because of the key of F. Major and minor, somehow.
Oh well. Even Heroes Bake Mistakes. | | Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 | | 7:11 pm |
Oh noes Gandrayda! I think I've been far too influenced by Gandrayda from Metroid Prime 3. Just like her, I find myself doing everything as acrobatically as comfortable. It's not to look cool, by any means, I actually operate from the assumption that it looks silly, I just have an abundance of energy best used like that. I do all the same stuff, I just have a lot more fun getting from point A to point B. Maybe I'm getting comfortable with this whole 'body' thing.
Oh yeah, and I killed the fudgemonster, only to meet the Greek-Egyptian... uh... thing. Deceptively easy seeming, but a total beast. Someday I'll get it!
Oh, and Amtgard is fun. If anybody out there in Interland has any spare golf clubs, lemme know. | | Monday, September 24th, 2007 | | 11:42 pm |
I feel solidtude. Lots. Not necessarily a bad thing. But distinct. Very distinct. | | Sunday, September 23rd, 2007 | | 12:34 am |
Philosophy Y'know, I'm really bothered by inherently cynical or too deeply cynical philosophies. I mean, if you're going to delve into philosophy in the first place, why refuse to accept anything that could generate any meaning? Science just permeates everything and tends to ruin its soul where some ideas are concerned. Not that it has to, but people continually accepting certain assumptions and refuting all others on the basis that they're not generally accepted is painful. It's not that I assume that there's all kinds of spiritual stuff everywhere, I just also don't assume there isn't, and when people assume it's NOT possible with as much faith as religious people have and more, yet keep an intellectual aura about them, it makes me somewhat crazy. But ahh well, such is life. Judd out! Current Mood: contemplativeCurrent Music: Saturday Night Live | | Saturday, September 22nd, 2007 | | 10:28 pm |
New S'been a while since I've started up a new journal. Two years, I guess. I sorta plan on starting things over in general, as best I can, so this is a nice start. Not obsessively or painstakingly, just whatever works. I might be the only reader, or Kiki might drop in from time to time if she sticks with IJ. Maybe at some point a horde'll come over and there can be a Golden Age 2! Or maybe not. No real way to know, I guess, but it's kinda fun to post anyway, so I think I will regardless. Anyway... if I may digress from introductions... Phillip made the silly mistake of starting a megaman game at my house. We have been working together, mostly him with me occasionally taking a bit. And now we, or more accurately I, have made it to an unbeatable boss. It's entirely ridiculous. The sad thing is, it's not even badass. It looks like a weird, faux 3-d blob of fudge with the eye of Sauron occasionally appended to it. It's horrifyingly pathetic, and yet has about as much health as the nation of Norway. I think I may have given up. The thing is, to GET to the imposso-boss you have to cross the most gigantic field of insto-death lasers ever. Seeing as I don't want to waste that effort, I'll probably keep trying to beat the fudge golem at some point. Ahh Metroid Prime 3, why did you have to end?! Now I am trapped in two-dimensional gaming purgatory, and the plotlines for Megaman, contrary to popular belief, are not insightful or amazing. Phillip and I can only bear them by saying all the dialogue in funny voices. Oh well. Some day the Megaman will be defeated. The greatest thing was a boss early on. A translating error led him to say "Even heroes Bake mistakes!" I'm thinking of making that a motto of sorts. It has the most grandiosely pathetic ring to it. I should like to find a place to fit it. I suppose that's enough rambling for an introduction. Judd out! Current Mood: awakeCurrent Music: Megaman X in background + Counting Crows on Satellite Radio. |
